Dr. Brent Taylor attended Harvard College, where he graduated magna cm laude in three years with a bachelor of arts in biochemical sciences. He attended Vanderbilt School of Medicine on a full, merit-based scholarship and graduated from medical school in 2009. During his residency training at Medical University of South Carolina, he published sentinel research on Mohs surgery laboratory techniques. He then completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. His fellowship training focused on skin cancer and reconstruction as well as minimally invasive vein treatments including endovenous laser ablation and ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy. He returned to the southeast and has since worked as a Mohs surgeon at University of Florida’s Department of Dermatology.

Ivette M. Sosa Seda MD is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Sosa Seda received her undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Bachelor in Science with Honors. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.

Dr. Sosa Seda completed her Dermatology residency at the University of Puerto Rico. She also completed a specialty in Advanced Clinical Dermatology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.

Following her training, Dr. Sosa Seda became an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic where she trained and supervised residents and physician assistants. Dr. Sosa Seda has years of experience, in academic dermatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and Mayo Clinic Health System. As a result of her clinical and research interests, she has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. She has experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic procedures including injectables and laser treatments. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. W. Scott McDonald is Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Dr. McDonald completed a full general surgery residency training program in General Surgery at Louisiana State University. During this training he entered a year of laboratory research at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. He then completed his resident training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at New York University. After his residency in Plastic Surgery Dr McDonald returned to the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles for a year of specialty training in Craniofacial Surgery. Dr. McDonald has spent most of his career in academic medicine teaching Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, and the University Of Miami School Of Medicine in Miami Florida. Dr McDonald has published clinical and laboratory in the most prestigious journals of Plastic Surgery including The Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, The Annals of Plastic Surgery, and The Journal of Craniofacial Surgery. He has given scientific lectures on Aesthetic Surgery, Breast Reconstruction, Craniofacial Surgery and Wound Healing at major Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery meetings including those hosted by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS, and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery (ASRM). Dr. McDonald has a strong commitment to teaching and community service. Not only has he received teaching awards for Plastic Surgery including the 2010 Resident Teaching Award at The Mt. Sinai School of Medicine Division of Plastic Surgery in New York City, but he has traveled to Columbia, South America, and led mission teams to Gaza, Palestine for Operation Smile. Dr. McDonald has also guided groups of the University of Miami medical students to the Central Plateau of Haiti and performed reconstructive surgery on both the children and adults of that country.

Dr. McDonald is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

Josep Genebriera, M.D. joined the staff of North Florida Dermatology Associates, P.A. in August of 2011. He was raised in Barcelona, Spain and studied at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and the University of Wales (UK) as well the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, where he was awarded his medical degree. He completed his internship at the Jefferson Health System in Philadelphia and dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Dr. Genebriera is the author of multiple scientific papers and book chapters on dermatology, and has presented his research at national and international conferences. He has conducted research at Boston University and was awarded research fellowships at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and Mayo clinic in Rochester, MN (Smith-Gibson research fellowship).

Because of his interest in skin care, Dr. Genebriera has expanded his knowledge to the development of skin care products. He also specializes in general dermatology and skin cancer, cosmetic dermatology including laser treatments, injectables, non-surgical rhinoplasty and dermatologic surgical procedures. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Society of Mohs Surgery and American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Genebriera is fluent in English, Catalan and Spanish.

Dr. Brown completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University and received his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center. He fulfilled a three year residency in dermatology at the Medical College of Virginia, and is Board Certified in dermatology. Dr. Brown has published a number of dermatologic journal articles and completed a variety of dermatologic research projects. In addition to general dermatology, Dr. Brown specializes in dermatologic surgery, sclerotherapy for spider veins, chemical peels, laser surgery, tattoo removals, and tumescent liposculpture. Dr. Brown is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Board Certified in Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, Duval County Medical Society, Clay County Medical Society, and the Jacksonville Dermatology Society.
