In the realm of myth and legend, Elen of the Ways emerges as an enigmatic figure, embodying the essence of the divine feminine. She is a Divine Being surrounded in controversy; and bears an influence from legendary Welsh goddess Elen Luyddog, who is said to have built a network of roads across Britain, facilitating trade and communication. This connection highlights Elen's role as a facilitator of movement and progress, both in the physical world and in the realm of the soul. The presence of Elen of the Hosts, and Saint Helen of the Cross, seem to have come together to form a vessel for the reawakening of a very ancient Deer Spirit of the land, journeying and pilgrimage.

I fell into a deep connection with her from the first time I heard her name, and even after researching her and finding many varying opinions as to her origin and authenticity, I opted to intuitively choose the connection of her in the collective consciousness and create her as a symbol or focal point for when the way seems murky, or the path obtuse. If she calls to you, know that She is a traveling companion, a wayfarer and wayshower. She oversees and guides us along our path, through mist and fog and thicket, and helps to illuminate the darkest of nights. Adorned with antler horns, she embodies the connection between the earthly and the divine, the physical and the spiritual. The antlers symbolize her role as a guide and protector, leading seekers along the paths of transformation and enlightenment. Above her shines an ancient compass, a powerful symbol of her ability to navigate the inner and outer worlds, guiding those who seek her counsel through the labyrinthine journey of self-discovery. Her staff points always to our inner North Star.

For Horse Lovers. I was taught that Love is an action word. I was also taught the Gratitude is an action word, & if I was going to develop either of those qualities , I better put my money down or my shoulder to the wheel.
