East Texas Military Veteran Peer Network Cherokee and Anderson County Dedicated to being a beacon for our veterans. Veteran’s Family:
Veterans that have families know that the families serve too.

Veterans:
Veteran Peers assist Veterans in finding community resources, driving Veterans to the VA hospital, homeless Veterans, assisting with job searches, PTSD, survivor’s guilt, depression, and inclinations towards substance abuse/addiction, suicide prevention, disability, re-establishing and even re-evaluating relationships with family, and mentoring veterans facing court post legal conflict. MVPN Peer Groups strive to encourage these families to stay together and support each other as we work through the obstacles that bring us back to where we’re meant to be. Having an encouraging environment for the whole family can be healing in itself. Community:
MVPN is a community in itself. Hosting events and celebrations for Veterans and their families is of utmost importance. The fellowship of Veteran to Veteran and family to family is what keeps our community together. Showing up and being an ear may be the only thing called for you to do at times; for others it may be signing up for the training to be a direct support volunteer.
