Funny how hard it is for people to accept a way of moving through life that creates ease instead of hard work, calm instead of chaos, comfort instead of friction. It's as if we have all been so well programmed to work until we drop that we feel guilty if we slow down. For their own wellbeing, people need to know what’s really going on in their bodies in response to the insane velocity of changes from the pandemic on...People come to me because they're in pain. I saw an amazing demonstration by Linda Tellington Jones working with an irate dressage horse and I wanted to know who was this person that she trained with!!!!!?! the horse calmed down within five minutes or less of her touch: this is not just nervous system regulation this is providing the right conditions for the nervous system to self regulate. Ignored Feedback: Why Modern Society Suppresses Pain

📍 📍 We've been taught to ignore the most Important Information: the feedback we get from our own Nervous System. We've been taught to deny it. We've been taught to give it drugs. We've been taught to suppress it. This is the thing: most people haven't been independent enough in their thinking to realize this is a problem! If you want to stress less, and have less chronic pain, you have to tune IN, not tune OUT.

Let's bust the Myth that Strength Training is the only thing that matters. It turns out pain & trauma are two sides of the same coin. And if you think it's not traumatic for an athlete to be unable to do a sport they have spent a lifetime training for, think again. It can be a complete identity crisis, one that requires neurological reeducation, even more than strength training. Discover how to prevent overuse injuries for optimal athletic performance.
