The program is fun, interactive, and non-competitive. It is a good choice for your child to learn about his/her body and improve strength, coordination, balance, and agility, important skills important for running, walking, climbing, team sports, and simply being....alive. Focus and concentration during breathing activities helps calm the mind and improve school performance, too. Bendy Bodies Preschool: Yoga/Pilates for boys and girls, ages 2.5/3years to VPK. Exercises will be taught in a relaxing, but nourishing environment. Children will explore nature as they practice postures like tree, dog, cat, cow, and turtle. Breathing exercises such as bunny breathing and ducky breathing will help children with calming techniques and lung capacity. Core strengthening will also help children with balance, agility, and coordination. If your child is transitioning from Mommy 'n Me, you can take the class to assist with the transition without a fee! Bendy Bodies Big Kids: For ages 5-8. Focus on Flexibility and core strength in a fun environment. An excellent means to cross train and condition for sports. Parents and sibling groups welcome. Bendy Bodies Tweens: For ages 9-12. Focus on Flexibility and core strength. Improves posture, self awareness, and balance. A good program to enhance sports performance. Pilates for dancers and performance arts: Ages 9 and up. Focus on flexibility, stamina, strength in legs and arms, posture, core strength, body symmetry, injury prevention, This class is forming. Looking for students. Please contact Theresa if interested.
