Alia for Early Intervention in the Kingdom of Bahrain has renewed its Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) designation, a meaningful marker of the thoughtful, ongoing work happening behind the scenes. The certification reflects continued training and shared standards that support calmer environments, more confident staff, and experiences designed with sensory awareness and care.

What stands out is the impact beyond the center itself. From sensory-aware classrooms and therapy spaces to vocational training and community initiatives like Halla by Alia Café, Alia for Early Intervention continues to build trust, independence, and opportunity. It’s a reminder that when inclusion is built into systems and culture, it quietly creates lasting value for individuals, families, and the broader community.

🚨 Featured CAC: Bergen New Bridge Medical Center ’s Emergency Department is a Certified Autism Center™ (CAC), with over 80% of ED staff trained and certified in autism care to provide patient-centered, sensory-friendly support.

Becoming a CAC isn’t just about awareness—it improves hospital operations too:
• Shorter, more predictable ED visits and reduced wait times through de-escalation techniques, clear communication, and sensory-friendly spaces.
• Improved staff confidence and streamlined processes that benefit all patients.
• Shorter hospital stays as staff better understand sensory needs, communication styles, and family dynamics — helping reduce complications and support faster recovery.

IBCCES also conducted an onsite review to help Bergen New Bridge ED provide the most inclusive experience possible—because every patient deserves care that truly understands them. ❤️
