Summer is here, and we hope you're making the most of it! As temperatures rise, it's essential to remember these safety tips to stay safe in the heat.

- Stay hydrated by drinking water regularly, especially when outdoors
- Apply sunscreen, wear a hat and find shade during peak sun hours
- Wear light-colored, loose-fitting, breathable clothing
- Summer travel means there are more people on the roads, so stay alert and drive defensively
- Use insect repellent to protect yourself from mosquitoes and ticks
- Exercise outdoors (with caution), whether it's walking or swimming, make the most of the warmer weather
- Eat seasonal fruits and veggies like watermelon, blackberries and zucchini
