I can ask all the time my horse get hurt and I’m always telling everybody more likely than not. They got hurt out in the pasture doing crazy things that they do rather than doing something under sale. Here’s a good example enjoy :-)

With so much rainfall in Florida, be on the lookout for standing water that can harbor the Pythium insidiosum, which causes pythiosis in horses.

Pythiosis is a life-threatening disease of humans and animals caused by the oomycete Pythium insidiosum. This oomycete pathogen is acquired through open skin after contacting contaminated wet environments, and causes granulating skin lesions.

With responsible for 60% of the recorded infections, early detection is key! If you suspect pythiosis, seek immediate veterinary care.

We received news today that one of our sweet clients crossed the rainbow bridge recently, Alfie had a very special spirit about him and over the years we developed a very special relationship. He was always a bright light and brought a smile to your face. He will always be missed and I am so thankful for the trust extended to me to care for him through the years! To all who knew him we pray peace in this time and joy in his memories!
