Mark Pierce, 73, of Gravelly, Arkansas, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus, October 12, 2025. Mark was born September 7, 1952 in Danville, Arkansas to Henry Ford(Dick) and Lorena Fowler (Cat) Pierce. He lived most of his life in Gravelly, Arkansas.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Julie, nephew Greg Pierce, niece, Janice Pierce, his best-ever dog, Henry.

Those left to cherish his memory, three brothers, Phillip Pierce (Norma), Dale Pierce (Melissa), Glen Pierce (Susie), Step-brother, Steve Crawford (Lisa), Step-sisters, Brenda Hightower, Sheri Fausset, Karen Crawford, Alisa Crawford, his nieces, Christina Frazier (Robert), Marsha Jones (Ricky), nephews, Chris Pierce(Amy), Jamie Pierce( Sarah).

Mark was a talented mechanic and artist. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was an all-around wonderful man.

Beverly L. Vandergriff, age 74, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on October 13, 2025. She was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on July 25, 1951 to James Hill and Betty Justus Gray.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents and two siblings Billy Gray and John Gray.

She is survived by three children Michael Dotson, Shay Vandergriff-Cormier (Duane) both of North Little Rock, and Joshua Vandergriff (Brittany) of Imboden; three grandchildren MaKenlee Vandergriff, Re*****on Vandergriff, and Graylee Vandergriff; three siblings Eddie Gray (Gail) of Ravenden, Jackie Yearian (Robert) of Sherwood, and Joy Gray of Ravenden; grand-dogs Deacon, Dolly, Sabastion, and Ellee; special helper Harper Flo Gray; and a host of nieces and nephews.

An ocean memorial will be held at a later time.

Sandra Leah Courson, age 77, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025. She was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan to parents James ‘Jimmy’ Cameron Henderson and Betty Dean Finley Henderson on December 15, 1947.

She is survived by two loving daughters and their spouses: Patricia Leah Wirsum (Zachary Wirsum) of Chicago, Illinois and Jacquie Lodge (David Sherman) of Cocoa Beach, Florida and her beloved granddaughter, Vivian Wirsum.

She graduated with an RN from Tulsa Community College Dean’s Honor Roll and worked as a cardiac care nurse at several local hospitals where she deeply cared for her patients. She was a talented watercolor painter, avid hiker, animal and nature lover who spent her days walking on West Mountain and contemplating Buddhist philosophies. She was a true individual that touched many lives and we wish her many happy trails in her eternal forest.

Sherrye Clingmon, age 68, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on October 9, 2025. She was born on October 20, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas to her parents Herman and Helen Clingmon.

Sherrye is preceded in death by her parents and three siblings Oweater Porter, Henry Clingmon, and Ronnie Clingmon.

She is survived by her significant other James Connors III; daughters ShaNeka Connors-Stewart (Sherman) and LaNetra Connors; grandchildren Teari Stewart, Micah Edward, and Telah Stewart; three brothers Rueben Clingmon (Maxine), Terry Clingmon (Anita), and Derrick Clingmon (Kimberly); along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Charles (Chuck) Earl Kirkland of Beebe, Arkansas was born on November 29, 1962 went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 14, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father Marvin Doyle Kirkland, his mother Ella Mae Kirkland, his sister Terry Lynn Delong, and his brother Marvin Kelly Kirkland.

Stella Irving Westerman was born March 30, 1941 to H.R. and Lula Mae Stokes Irving. Stella lived most of her adult life in England, Arkansas where she raised her family. Stella passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 84.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobby Lee Westerman, and her son Dustin Wayne Westerman.

Survivors include daughter Rebecca Ward (Lynn) and sons Clayton, Scott (Donna), and Todd Westerman, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Stella came from a large family having eight brothers and eight sisters.

Stella was a devoted friend and family member who saw to it things got done and on time. She sacrificed her time and resources taking care of those in need. Her neighbors came to depend on her like no other. One of her greatest attributes was her ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds. She was witty, charming, gregarious, and, of course, beautiful.

Neva Joann Lovelady, age 87, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Joann was born on March 3, 1938 in Atkins, Arkansas to Johnny Lester and Ava Patterson. She was an in-house caretaker for 10 years until she retired in 2002. After she retired, she became a full-time grandmother. She loved babies, taking care of kids, and being “Ninnie” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

From a small cabin in East Dumas to homes in the city, Joann always beautified her surroundings and family. She cooked, did laundry, decorated, and provided security every day. She was a shoulder to cry on, a person of encouragement, and the model of loving sacrifice. Need advice? Just a look from her and you'd know if you were right or wrong. She was patient, kind, dependable, and non-judgmental.
