Marsha Garrett, age 71, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on January 30, 2026. She was born in Sunflower, Kansas on September 30, 1954 to Raymond Garrett and Ella Marie Davidson.

Marsha is preceded in death by her parents and her grandmother Dora Amelia DeMint.

She is survived by her sisters Brenda Garrett and Tammie Clark (Timothy), niece Natalie Hedrick (Chris), and nephew Blake Donaubauer (Teahnna), great-nephew Blue and great-niece Eleanor.

Marsha was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ and Sunday School Teacher for 20 years. She was a teacher at Cabot High School for 40 years before retiring. She was also an English Instructor at Pulaski Tech and ASU Beebe. She was a published author.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 9:30am with the funeral service starting at 10:00am in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville. Interment to follow at 2:30pm at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

Mary Alice Rash Netzley, 76, of Sherwood, previously of Jacksonville, went to be with Jesus on Friday, January 30th, 2026, surrounded by her five children. She was born in Newport, Arkansas on March 30th, 1949.

Mary Alice enjoyed traveling from coast to coast with her mom and husband, including her favorite trips to Branson, Pigeon Forge and Alaska. She loved being with her family especially during summertime camping trips to Heber Springs. She had a passion for flowers and always had them in her garden. She proudly served on the Ladies Auxiliary and was a lifetime member of the VFW where she enjoyed dancing to her favorite Rock n Roll music with her closest friends. Above all else, she loved to care for others and show unconditional love.

Sarah Elisabeth Mathews Townley, age 34, of Carlisle, Arkansas, passed away on January 27, 2026. She was born on January 16, 1992, in Jacksonville, Arkansas, to the late Nelson Mathews and Missy Mathews.

Sarah grew up in Lonoke, Arkansas, and graduated from Lonoke High School in 2010. She devoted her working life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Absolute Care, a role that reflected her deeply compassionate nature.

Sarah was well known for her love of animals. She rescued many, often bringing them home, and volunteered her time at an animal shelter. Her quick wit and great sense of humor were unmistakable and brought laughter to those around her. She enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors, especially riding horses, fishing, and hunting.

Family meant everything to Sarah. Her sister was her best friend, and Sarah took great pride in caring for her and being by her side.

Domingo Garcia, 62, of Benton, Arkansas passed from his earthly life on January 30, 2026.

Domingo, affectionately known by his family as Quito, was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Elodia Marie and Domingo Juan Garcia on April 4, 1963. Domingo went to technical school in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was there he was married to Valarie Jean Fredrickson on April 19, 1986. Domingo worked for General Motors for 39 years where he earned many awards and accolades. Domingo and Valarie moved with their growing family to nine different states over the years for Domingo’s job. Domingo and Valarie were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since 1999. Domingo held many callings to serve in the church including in leadership positions, his favorite calling was one he has had most frequently and one he did with Valarie, organizing events for the area members. In 2022, Domingo began working for a Nissan dealership- where he completed his career with cars, his biggest passion.

Linda Mae Selvidge passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Linda was born on May 28, 1944, in Heber Springs, Arkansas. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered around faith, family, and hard work.
She leaves behind five daughters: Debbie Williams (Jeff) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Bonnie Jones (Bob) of Searcy, Arkansas; Peggy Bashaw (Scott) of Searcy, Arkansas; Billie Cornett of Searcy, Arkansas; and Becky McAlister (Mike) of Hot Springs, Arkansas. She is also survived by 13 beloved grandchildren, along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Linda’s life was a true example of perseverance and determination. She left school early to raise her family and worked for many years following the harvest. Later, she was employed by Bald K**b Schools. While working full-time and raising her daughters, she worked hard and proudly earned her GED.

Sheila Alice Newsom, age 67, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2026. She was born on May 1, 1958 to the late Lester Clay and Velma Lancaster.

Sheila trusted the Lord and enjoyed life as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is preceeded in death by her husband of 48 years, David Newsom. Together they owned and operated A-1 Heating and Air Conditioning of North Little Rock.

To cherish her memories, she leaves behind her children Jeremie Newsom (Suricca Newsom), Jenifer Newsom (Justin Park), and Amber Stallard (Mark Stallard); grandchildren Ashlyn Hayes (Kenneth Hayes), Kayla Newsom, David Newsom, Josh Stallard, and Carlie Stallard; great-grandchildren Davelee Hayes and McKenlyn Hayes; brother Allen Clay, sister Cyndie Clay, brother Joe Clay (Penny Clay), and sister-in-law Flo Newsom; special friend Merlyn Weathington (Joseph Weathington); her furbaby Bubba; and many more friends and extended family.
