It may seem like you will never be able to feel pretty again, or have a life of your own after becoming a mother, but there is a way! Hi, I’m Angélica Renée, and I work with moms just like you to bring ease, calm and joy to motherhood, so you can really make the most of this wonderful time in your life. I see more and more that our culture tends to celebrate all that is hard about motherhood, as if looking frumpy or drinking gallons of coffee should be a way of life once you become a mother. I tried this, and I was miserable. There are times when all you’ll be able to manage is the very minimal, and that is ok! But if this becomes your normal, then this is when trouble arises. For me, I unintentionally started to put my baby’s needs first at all times and ignored my own. And since I was receiving messages that yes, motherhood is hard and there’s no point in changing that shirt with spit up, I just thought there was no other way and I had to go on like this because, well, this is what moms do. When I came to my senses and realized I had created this life for myself, I knew it was time to make a change. So I want to share with you all those things that have helped me and other moms take a stand for what we believe our own motherhood journey should look like. To pursue our dreams with kids in tow, and look fabulous doing it. To be caring and compassionate, and recycle. To care for ourselves just as much as we care for our babies. Sounds impossible?
