Welcome to Northeast Florida Affordable Care Act Navigator page! Visit healthcare.gov, the official consumer site for the Marketplace. Government.

It expands the affordability, quality, and availability of private and public health insurance through consumer protections, regulations, subsidies, taxes, insurance exchanges, and other reforms. Under the law, a new “Patient’s Bill of Rights” gives the American people the stability and flexibility they need to make informed choices about their health. Navigators are certified application counselor that provide consumers with assistance in enrolling in a healthcare plan through the Health Marketplace. Each navigator receives training, to include privacy training, and is tested to ensure they’re prepared to help you enroll in the Marketplace. The Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida (http://www.hpcnef.org/) directs the Navigator Program for Northeast Florida. Their goal is to provide unbiased reliable information that will promote healthy communities. This page will provide information on the upcoming enrollment events hosted by the Navigators. It's tax season! Check your mail for Form 1095-A
Did someone in your household have a Marketplace plan in 2024? When you file your taxes, you’ll need Form 1095-A, Health Insurance Marketplace® Statement. This form comes from the Marketplace, not the IRS. Contact your Navigator if you need assistance downloading it from your Marketplace account. Give this form to your tax preparer or use it to fill out Form 8962, Premium Tax Credit (PTC).
