UF Health Family Medicine UF Health primary care centers at Jacksonville offer services for patients during every stage of life, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

UF Health Family Medicine – San Jose, led by Medical Director Dr. Amy McCoy, treats men, women and children ages five and up. We enjoy treating urgent care problems as well as managing chronic disease states. We believe in approaching health with the whole person in mind - incorporating body, mind and spirit - and that the best medical outcomes are achieved when patients share responsibility with their physicians in medical decision making. Dr. McCoy is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Services include:

Urgent care same-day appointments

Minor skin procedures, biopsies, laceration repair

Mental health, including ADHD management

Women's health and pap smears

Preventative care wellness visits

He is a board-certified family medicine physician who strives for accountability, compassion, excellence and mutual respect. Dr. Fuentes proactively works with patients to help them find the right balance. His special interests are geriatric care, hypertension, mood disorders, preventive care, skin disorders, and management of chronic health conditions, including diabetes.
