JPCY Teacher Appreciation Post!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Two weeks ago we gathered with (almost all!) our teachers in one room - no small feat in studio life - and were reminded just how special this group is. We’re endlessly grateful for the people who lead our community in practice with so much care, skill, and heart. JPCY is held by you, and we feel so lucky to get to do this work alongside such a beautiful bunch of humans. 💙🦙✨

We’re expanding our Iyengar Yoga offerings on Monday nights. ✨

With this added Monday evening class, students have another steady touchpoint to practice Iyengar Yoga with Mychal Bryan and continue building a consistent, thoughtful relationship with this lineage.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Iyengar Yoga is a systematic approach to asana and pranayama that emphasizes intelligent sequencing, clarity of action, and the skillful use of props to support accessibility and transformation. This work is especially supportive for unblocking chronic areas of tightness — knees, hips, back, neck, and shoulders — while cultivating steadiness, focus, and vitality.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mychal is a Level 2 Certified Iyengar Teacher, and this new class joins his three other weekly Iyengar offerings at the studio. We’re grateful to continue deepening this lineage-based practice on our schedule with a teacher whose care, precision, and commitment to the method are so deeply felt.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whether you’re new to Iyengar Yoga or looking to refine an established practice, this is an invitation to slow down, study closely, and build strength and freedom over time.
