Chapin Home For The Aging - Founded In 1869. 24 Hour Skilled Nursing Care Under Direction Of Board Edwin Chapin, wife of the celebrated orator and pastor.

Chapin Home for the Aging was founded in Manhattan in 1869 by Mrs. Twenty other dedicated women joined in an enterprise based on Dr. Chapin's philosophy of "What is your need, not your creed." Chapin has been serving the New York City/Long Island community at its Jamaica location since 1912. Chapin has grown to a 220-bed Skilled Nursing Facility with a 50-registrant Adult Day Health Care Center.
