My Story
This Business Page has evolved from my postings on Facebook about holistic natural health as well as decades of research and experimentation on myself with naturopathic healing. I hope to share here the information to a wider audience that I've gained through many years of study and experience. I hope you find this page helpful in your own personal journey to health and longevity. The phoenix, a great mythical bird resembling an eagle that lives for 500 years and then immolates itself and rises from it's own ashes--is a powerful symbol in the greatest cultures of the world of transformation, rebirth, renewal, light, healing, and immortality. This symbol can give us encouragement and guidance on our own paths of transformation and healing in this world. The Phoenix Way has been the way I've tried to walk now for 25 years...and I can share what I've learned with you, if you are ready for the fire of rebirth and the tears of healing that the Phoenix brings. Join me! If you've never heard of term naturopathy before, it refers to a type of healing which is gentle, natural, and holistic, addressing the body, mind, and spirit. It rejects the drug and surgery quick-fix approach of modern Western medicine and replaces it with a more careful and thorough consideration of the causes of the illness and how to completely and permanently remove it. It advocates simple, natural, and safe methods such as changes to diet and nutrition, exercise and rest, relationships, and stress management, and incorporates auxiliary methods such as herbs, bodywork, fasting, and meditation. Here are the fundamental principles of naturopathy: The Healing Power of Nature Trust in the body’s inherent wisdom to heal itself. Identify and Treat the Causes Look beyond the symptoms to the underlying cause. First Do No Harm Utilize the most natural, least invasive and least toxic therapies. Doctor as Teacher Educate patients in the steps to achieving and maintaining health. Treat the Whole Person View the body as an integrated whole in all its physical and spiritual dimensions. Prevention Focus on overall health, wellness and disease prevention. As you can see, these principles, though authored by the same Hippocrates who wrote the oath sworn by Western Physicians today, do not correspond in any remote way to how these "doctors" attempt to help people heal. What they do is not in fact healing at all...but rather poisoning with powerful drugs and cutting out diseased and damaged tissues, two very primitive remedies that do not lead to healing in most cases but in many cases actually cause injury and death (over 100,000 per year in the USA alone).
I’m happy to help you learn more and experience real health, healing, and a deep experience of living naturally, simply, powerfully and free. Let’s get to know each other better!
