🎆 🌟 Since most of us are early birds, we carried over last nights festivities and had a wonderful New Years Day celebration today. We had a lot of great laughs, learned a lot about each other, shared resolutions, and our Dorothy was the lucky one to find the half dollar. In some cultures half dollars are hidden under a sweet treat. Whoever finds the lucky piece of money is supposedly the luckiest person for the whole year! Food featured New Years traditional items including pulled pork sliders, and an orange cream cake. Pork symbolizes prosperity and progress, as well as Vasilopita, an orange cake popular in Greece and considered lucky.🎆🌟
