Simple Sacred True operates out of Body and Mind on main in Jamestown. Sessions incorporate reiki, crystals, essential oils, tuning forks and sound to help soothe your mind and spirit and offer relaxation. “The Healingf Nature of Sound: Finding Harmony Through Vibration and Voice”

I am so excited to be invited to speak at The Fargo Moorhead Unitarian Universalist Church April 27th at 11 am. If you are curious inabout sound healing or want to enjoy a sound healing experience come join us!

Explore the ancient roots, cultural significance, and the profound ways sound and music promote well-being. Learn how different traditions have used sound as a tool for healing and how nature’s rhythms contribute to relaxation and balance. Experience a live demonstration featuring crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, and meditative storytelling.

Jennifer Moldenhauer is a sound energy practitioner. Raised in rural North Dakota, she grew up surrounded by the natural symphony of wind, coyote howls, and thunderstorms. Music was often spontaneous at family gatherings and home grown plays for special events and holidays are a favorite childhood memory. For her, using sound for relaxation, healing, and connection has always been second nature.

Workshop 12:30 pm

Following the service, dive deeper into the world of sound healing with an interactive workshop. Learn the more about how sound influences well-being and explore some of the ideas and practices that are a part of sound healing and energy work. Honor the need to rest or have down time. It can be hard to take a break. You might even feel a sense of urgency as if something is about to happen when you try. But this is just your mind getting off a merry go round. It takes a while for the world to stop spinning. It’s ok to take a nap, or go for a walk. It may take a leap of faith if it’s been a while or you’ve had a period of high octane push at work. If you need to schedule it just to feel in control of down time at first, that’s ok too. Have a happy, peaceful and healing day.

Purslane grows wild in my garden. I let it grow as long it's not crowding anything out. It's completely edible and tasty as a green in salads. And it makes for super tasty and easy quick pickles.

Part of this year's journey is learning how to temporarily use a manual wheel chair while I gain more strength to use crutches.

I worry about core strength and miss hiking desperately. One of my favorite ways to quiet the mind and strengthen the body is kundalini yoga. If anyone ever feels the call to come up with ways to do yoga effectively for people who have limited mobility, please become a teacher. The world needs you.

One of the most common parts of warm up for yoga is the cat/cow. I found this video that gives a suggestion for an alternate form from a wheelchair or chair. It felt pretty good, so I'm sharing.

Good Morning,

It has been some time since I've regularly posted. I'm hoping over the next few weeks and months to start regular posts again and by fall have some services available through my business.

The last year and a half called many of us to focus on family first and engage in self care and self awareness. So much has happened and we are still reshaping ourselves and making sense of the events that have taken place.

I chose to suspend Tuning fork Reiki and in person services during COVID in part because information was difficult to understand, I did not want to inadvertently spread infection and I did not have the energy to be fully present for people who needed energy work. My primary employment needed new skills, new ways of doing things and it was exhausting.

This summer I had hoped to start services but was in a accident while hiking which resulted in multiple fractures in my dominant ankle and some minor injuries. Again I find myself needing to take time to heal within before helping others.

It has been quite the journey. Like all journeys, start with one step forward, set your mind's eye to a bright destination and move forward with conviction to meet the road ahead with an open heart and intent to nurture joy and love as you go.

Our Story

Simple Sacred True offers Tuning Fork Reiki and more out of Body and Mind Massage in Jamestown ND. Our address is 104 1st Ave NE.

Sound is sacred and personal. It resonates in each and everyone of us. It has the power to change our moods, heal our minds and bring ease to the body.

When I was a small girl my grandfather taught me to use music in my daily life as a way to bring happiness and joy to people, animals and plants. He taught me that our voices are our first instrument and with our voices, both in speaking and singing, we are connected to our creative force and our higher power.

I am a Reiki Practioner and energy worker and combine sound with this beautiful tradition to help clear the chakras and aura also known as the biofield.
