Correction for our Dunkirk Recovery Center schedule:

The group previously listed as “Medication in Recovery” at noon on Thursdays is incorrect. The correct group is AA Starting Over.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding. We hope to see you all there tomorrow!

VETERANS GROUP

Jill Marsh, a veteran of the US Air Force, leads our Veterans Group on Wednesdays at 11:00 am - noon.

The group is for veterans and those who had or currently have family members who served in our military.

Following refreshments, Jill covers many topics and trivia related to our military and our country. Everyone enjoys the discussions, fun trivia contests, prizes, and comraderie.

New members are always welcome!

Looking for donations of fleece.

The Upcycle Sewing group meets every Wednesday at 3:00 pm following the Art In Recovery group at MHA. The group is led by Denise de la Cerda.

Our most recent project has been very beneficial to those experiencing homelessness or those who need gloves or mittens.

Using a pattern, fleece is cut into a mitten shape. Our sewers then sew around two layers, turn them inside out and voila! - a nice, warm mitten. Participants have reported that this project has impacted them by feeling a sense of purpose.

We are always looking for donations of fleece or thick fabric that can be used for mittens. Donations can be dropped off at our front desk inside door 14 at the rear of the Gateway Center at 31 Water St in Jamestown.

If you prefer to ship them to us, send donations to:
