Firefly: A firefly baby is a baby that has completed all five stages of growth during the pregnancy and then dies.
Golden: A golden baby is a child born after a family has faced challenges like loss or infertility, symbolizing hope and a fresh start.
Sunset: A sunset baby is a twin who dies in the womb, leaving behind a surviving twin. This can happen at any point in the pregnancy journey, including during birth. As well as the term sunset baby, used to describe a twin who dies in the womb, there is a term to describe the surviving twin: a sunrise baby.
Butterfly: Butterfly baby refers to a child with a rare skin condition called epidermolysis bullosa. This condition makes the skin extremely fragile, causing painful blisters and sores from the slightest friction.
Rainbow: A rainbow baby is a healthy baby born to a parent or family who has previously lost a child to miscarriage, stillbirth, or neonatal death.
