Sweet Flower Organics

Sweet Flower Organics 100% organic skincare. Made to order in small batches to insure purity and shelf life. Your skin is the largest organ of your body - know your products.

Sweet Flower Organics came about when my husband suggested that I sell the face cream that I have been making for years. In 2000 I lost my amazing mother to breast cancer and it was at that time that I really took a closer look at everything that went into my family's bodies and especially on their skin. I have tweaked the recipe over the years and in December 2015 my website will go "live" offering the product to the public! I am a certified aromatherapist and will be adding some lovely oil blends as well. www.sweetflowerorganics.com

Twice I dreamt of a blue butterfly last night. Tossing a little piece of paper into the sky both times turned into a beautiful butterfly that fluttered down landing on my head.

Butterflies are powerful symbols…. Blue butterflies symbolize love, hope and transformation and I love that it landed on my head… spiritual transformation.

Being in my early 60s I have such an appreciation for all life around me and can now so easily let go of the stuff that doesn’t matter. We humans are powerful beings and if we let go a bit, get outside, breathe and meditate we can unleash so much good!

Get out of your head and back into nature. 💚🙏🧘‍♀️

For my Northeast followers that are interested in planting native plants, trees, shrubs and vines…. I’ve looked at a ton of books as well as many online resources and if I had to pick one go to, this would be it. It is so well laid out, filled with gorgeous photos and packed with information on each plant.

I have a whole new appreciation for bees, bugs and caterpillars 🐛 I was so excited to see this little one on our native northern bayberry bush. If you plant it, they will come! According to entomologist Doug Tallamy, it takes between 6000 and 9000 caterpillars to raise a single clutch of chickadees!

Plant a wide variety of native plants, trees and shrubs in your yard in order to provide a food web that will feed a wide variety of pollinators.

The second photo is of our bee hotel which has several sleepy guests 🐝 who have yet to come out.

The pollinator garden has extended out into the whole front yard and back. With the addition of:
Northern Bayberry bushes
Inkberry bushes
Switchgrass
Little Bluestem grasses
Sweet Pepper Bushes
American Plum tree
Serviceberry tree
P***y Willow tree
Dwarf Chestnut Oak tree
More Yarrow, Cone Flower,
Zizia aurea, Asters, and Anise hyssop. I dug a lot of holes in the last two days 😅 and loved every minute of it! I’m creating a path of all native plants leading to the pollinator garden in one direction and seating around the fire pit off to the other end. I can’t wait to watch it all fill in over the years!

Rewilding is a progressive approach to conservation. It's about letting nature take care of itself, enabling natural processes to shape land and sea, repair damaged ecosystems and restore degraded landscapes. Through rewilding, wildlife's natural rhythms create wilder, more biodiverse habitats.

There is never enough time in the day but you just have to stop and enjoy the process. We are in the midst of two bathroom renovations and I thought this part would be fun… the YouTube video made it look easy but… she didn’t peel right off 😳😂

My new favorite “sun tea!” I made tea last night and forgot to drink it and low and behold, I took a sip of it this morning and it was even better tasting cold! This lemon ginger tea by is my new favorite and also a good way to get more water in daily. How much water? Try drinking half of your body weight in ounces a day. For example, if you weigh 140 lbs then try to drink 70 ounces of water a day. 💦 Think of your body and your brain as a plant….when that plant doesn’t get enough water it wilts and shrinks. 😉 😳

Our Story

My journey into the world of face cream started out as a hobby back in 2000, after losing my amazing mother to breast cancer. It was at that time, that I started to take a closer look at everything that went into my family’s bodies, especially on their skin.

I have very dry skin and was forever in search of a moisturizer that was effective and made with the cleanest ingredients. Never being quite satisfied, I decided to experiment and make my own. After years of giving it away to friends and family and receiving great feedback and a demand for more, my husband suggested I start selling it, and that is how Sweet Flower Organics® was born.

I am a certified Aromatherapist, Yoga Instructor and Holistic Health Coach. My other passion is soap making. I've put a lot of time into creating these gorgeous and luxurious cold-processed soaps. They are deliciously moisturizing and smell amazing! The soaps are scented only with essential oils. The essential oils that I use are carefully sourced, they are organic, wild-crafted and unsprayed. I read each GC/MS report on each batch of oil that is used to insure its purity and shelf life.

It's my mission to have everyone have access to clean, nourishing skin products. Here at Sweet Flower Organics you can be assured that there are no synthetic ingredients, no parabens, no patroleum and absolutely no animal testing ever.
