Employee Spotlight: Jess Hamilton
This week we’re proud to highlight Jess Hamilton, our Director of Nursing Services at Adams Farm.
How long have you been with us?
I’ve been part of the Adams Farm team for 2 years.
What do you enjoy most about working in skilled nursing and transitional rehab?
I value the opportunity to make a meaningful, macro-level impact on the quality of care provided to our residents. In my role as Director of Nursing, I’m able to influence not only individual moments of care, but also the systems and processes that shape daily experiences and outcomes. Supporting our staff in delivering safe, high-quality care in an efficient and compassionate way is incredibly rewarding.
What is one thing you focus on each day to help provide great care for residents?
One of my top priorities each day is mentoring and developing the next generation of nursing leaders. I believe it’s essential to invest in the growth of our team—helping individuals build confidence, strengthen their skills, and recognize their potential. Creating a culture of mentorship and encouragement strengthens not only our staff, but the entire organization, leading to better care and stronger teamwork.
What do you find most rewarding about helping residents through their recovery or care journey?
It’s deeply rewarding to witness a resident’s journey from a vulnerable moment to a place of renewed strength, confidence, and independence. Being part of that process—celebrating small victories and watching someone achieve what once felt out of reach—is one of the most meaningful aspects of this work.
What makes our facility a special place for residents and staff?
Adams Farm is special because of the strong sense of community, compassion, and connection you feel from the moment you walk through the door. The laughter, the teamwork, and the genuine care shared between residents and staff create a warm, family-like environment that truly feels like home.
We’re grateful to have dedicated leaders like Jess who help make Adams Farm such a supportive, compassionate, and high-quality place for both residents and staff every day.
