Employee of the Month December 2025

Nancy Borawski is part of the Nursing team on our rehabilitation unit and has been employed at Iroquois Nursing Home since September 2024. She is very dedicated, caring, and reliable. She can always be counted on to help us out when we are in a staffing pinch by picking up extra shifts or jumping in and helping the Certified Nursing Assistants with patient care. We are very lucky to have her as part of the Iroquois Nursing team.

Today Iroquois proudly celebrates the incredible veterans who call our community home. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to our country inspire us everyday. We are grateful to walk among these men and women who have served our country with honor and continue to enrich our lives with their stories, wisdom, and resilience.

To our veteran residents and our veteran staff: thank you for your service, your strength, your spirit. You are the heart of our community, and we salute you not just today, but always! ❤️🤍💙

Our Employee of the Month for September 2025 is Shana Ralston. Shana has been employed at Iroquois Nursing Home since July 2023 as the Director of Activities. She also serves in the role of Resident Concierge. Here are a few of the comments from her nomination forms:

This is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. It is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, and our team is excited to participate again this year!
