The Snow Emergency remains in effect. Doylestown Township Public Works crews worked overnight and will continue working throughout today to complete road clearing and salting operations.
Township roadways remain our top priority and are being plowed and treated first. Bike and Hike trails are secondary and will be addressed as conditions allow once roadway operations are complete. PennDOT crews continue to clear state roadways, including the Route 611 Bypass and the Route 202 Parkway.
Our Township crews came through the storm relatively unscathed. At this time, there are no road closures, no downed trees, and no power outages impacting the Township.
Residents are reminded not to park or leave vehicles on roadways during the Snow Emergency, as parked vehicles interfere with snow removal operations.
