Earlier this week, Resident Board Officers, Manor Committee Members, and Marketing Ambassadors were recognized during the Volunteer Appreciation Ice Cream Social. Each volunteer enjoyed ice cream with all the toppings and received a certificate of appreciation. A big thank you to our volunteers for their effort, participation, and all they do for our wonderful community!

Last week, a Cultural Educator with the Native American Heritage Programs, presented an interesting and educational overview of the history and culture of the indigenous Lenape Tribe.

Many prospective residents attended our annual Resident Panel marketing event. Current residents answered questions from the audience about their life at the Manor!

On Friday we had a special happy hour with US Rep. Fitzpatrick and State Rep. Marcell. They poured wine and tested residents’ knowledge of US history.

U.S. History Trivia and the simply incredible residents of The Manor at York Town are two of my favorite things, so when they asked me to host, it was an immediate yes!

It was such a great afternoon filled with great stories, lots of laughter, and more than a few impressive trivia answers from one of the most vibrant senior communities anywhere in our region.

Thank you to the residents for the invitation, and to Robyn Fine, Director of Community Life, and the entire Manor team for all you do each day for our seniors.

We enjoyed hosting the Amped Quintet last week. This group of talented young musicians from local high schools really jazzed up our happy hour!
