I’ll be out of the office for the next two weeks as I head to Japan 🇯🇵 🙏

This trip feels especially meaningful to me because part of it is dedicated to Reiki, a practice that is deeply woven into both my work and my heart. I’ll be hiking the mountain where Mikao Usui meditated, the place where Reiki is believed to have come through.

It feels really special to visit a place with such deep roots in this healing practice, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with that history and energy in such a personal way.

Thank you for your patience while I’m away. I look forward to reconnecting when I return! 😃

I’m excited to finally share that I’m now adding natural hair locing services to Whole-Being!

This may be a new offering through my business, but it’s not new to me. I’ve been doing loc work behind the scenes for over 5 years, including creation, maintenance, extensions, and decorative work, and I still work with ongoing loc clients regularly. I’ve also maintained my own locs for 13 years, so this is a practice that’s been part of my life for a long time.

I offer loc creation, maintenance, crochet work, repair, adornment, and custom real human hair loc extensions for added length, fullness, or both.

For summer, I’m opening more availability for loc appointments. Because this work takes time and care, spots will still be limited. Maintenance and decorative work require at least a one-hour minimum, while loc creation appointments are much more time-intensive and require significantly longer sessions.

Pricing depends on hair length, thickness, individual needs, and whether extensions are included. I offer free 15-minute consults and can provide an estimate before booking.

Seven years in business.

I have been sitting with that number and feeling a lot, gratitude, awe, and honestly a little emotional.

When I started Whole Being, I thought I was building something to support other people, and I was. But what I did not fully understand at the beginning is how much you would give back to me through this work.

You have shaped me. You have challenged me to grow, to keep learning, to refine my skills, to hold myself to a higher standard, and to show up with more presence, integrity, and heart than I knew I was capable of. You have trusted me with real, tender parts of your life, and that kind of trust changes a person. Being invited into your healing, your nervous system, your stories, your breakthroughs, your hard seasons, your victories, it has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

This business has been a deep personal and professional growth journey for me, and so much of that is because of the clients and community who have supported it. You have given me more than I ever expected, more purpose, more connection, more meaning, and so many reminders of why this path matters.

Thank you for the love, the support, and the trust over these seven years. Thank you for coming back, for referring your people, for encouraging me, for letting me learn and grow alongside you. Thank you for being part of Whole Being.

Sometimes the muscle is not the full story. When the nervous system is still bracing, the body can keep returning to the same holding pattern, even after great bodywork.

Adding Brainspotting to my work has been a game changer for clients who feel stuck in recurring tension patterns. It helps the brain and nervous system process what is underneath the bracing, so the body can actually let go, not just temporarily loosen.

This is Yin style yoga, slow floor based holds, gentle stretching, breath, and a short guided meditation each week. Very beginner friendly, very nervous system friendly.

Over 7 weeks we move through the chakras, grounding, creativity, confidence, heart, expression, intuition, and presence. You do not need to be flexible. You just need a body and a willingness to show up exactly as you are.
