Today’s spotlight on positive support is all about David!

David is one of our spectacular therapists who offers virtual sessions for clients. Virtual therapy can allow flexibility for scheduling & reduce the barrier of transportation needs.

David specializes in working with older adults, veterans, and those going through significant life changes. He is also beginning training for AEDP - Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. Per their explanation, “AEDP psychotherapy is an experiential model that seeks to alleviate patients’ psychological suffering by helping them process the overwhelming emotions associated with trauma in a way that facilitates corrective emotional and relational experiences that mobilize positive changes in our neuroplastic brains.”

David is warm & welcoming to clients and goes above and beyond to connect them to resources that are appropriate. We are so lucky to have him!

We’re halfway through the week! If this week has been tough for you, we want you to know we understand and are here for you 🩵 there’s light at the end of that tunnel.

Today we’re recognizing a foundation we are partners with: the Tommy Corral Memorial Foundation 💜 TCMF believes in providing support for individuals without the barriers. When someone who’s having insurance issues, financial struggles or just not sure what to do - TCMF helps connect them with a therapist or agency and provides short-term financial support to cover mental health services. This amazing foundation has made it possible for so many individuals to start their healing journeys. We are so lucky and grateful to be connected with them.

The sun is out and it’s beautiful ☀️

Today we’re recognizing two of our “friends” and neighboring practices!

is quite literally - our neighbor! They’re right across the hall from us. Blackbird psychotherapy specializes in play therapy and working with kids/adolescents. Not to mention.. they have the cutest animals in office!

Lotus counseling is just around the corner from us on Main Street! Lotus has therapists that specialize in various treatment modalities from play therapy, to substance use to EMDR. They are all so warm and welcoming!

Why recognize other practices?! Because we truly believe in the concept of community over competition. The more we can connect, network and help one another the more we can continue to help the community and spread the word of mental health resources. There are so many wonderful practices and therapists in the area; these are just two of our go to referrals!

Happy Monday!

Today we’re taking time to recognize our amazing child & adolescents therapist, Allison. When we say Allison’s a rockstar… we don’t mean that lightly. She has all the games. All the art materials. Toys? She’s got plenty. What’s even better - her never ending support & compassion she brings to our office and clients. Her active listening skills are top notch and she is full of resources! And - she always gets the best stuff from target.

Thank you Allison, for being the wonderful unicorn therapist that you are. We appreciate you!

It’s (finally) Friday!

Today we want to recognize an additional support we are offering this month with the help from ! Webs of grief is a local non-profit that helps take the financial burden off of those who have experienced a loss of a loved one. April 15th, Sabrina and Jamie in our office will be hosting our first ever Adult Grief Support Group.

While grief isn’t something “beautiful”, the ability to connect with others and the community during a tragedy can be. It can offer a way to take even a sliver of that heartache away while we figure out how to best support each other. Today that’s our focus 🫶🏽

If you could use additional support in your journey with grief, join us Wednesday April 15th at 530. Drop in style, no pressure added. Just a place to feel supported.

Our focus this April is to recognize all of the beautiful things about our community and practice - the people, resources, supports, etc.

Today we’re starting with recognizing our Admin Assistant, Brianne! Brianne plays a key role in keeping our office running smoothly. She not only is the person you speak to when you call our office but she is the keeper of all schedules, organizes all of our supplies and knows when things need to be reordered, if you’ve ever had a coffee or snack in our office while waiting- you can thank Brianne for that! She helps manage billing to keep the business side of things running smoothly and advocates for clients in need by connecting them to the best therapist possible or providing information on other resources in the area.

Thank you Brianne for all you do! You truly help our office “blossom” 🌺

Happy April! 💜🪴🪻🌼⛅️🌦️

Although the temps are chilly today; spring is here. We love spring for a number of reasons, but mostly because it’s a beautiful time to recognize that even after darkness, beautiful things can still bloom 🌺

Our focus this April is to recognize all of the beautiful things about our community and practice - the people, resources, supports, etc.
