Here's a slide show of the presentation we gave to both the Janesville Morning and Noon Rotary and this Fall. It shows how much we can accomplish with hope and support from the Janesville community.

We just made it back from Buluba. The trip flew by, but we accomplished all of our goals, and made a great impact on the small village of Buluba. I have attached a few pictures that show before and after views of our work in the community, including: 1)construction of a new school room, and renovation of the old building in Buluba village school, 2) construction of a fence, and new playground at the Buluba hospital school, 3) painting the interior of the leprosy hostel, and 3) delivering schools supplies, dolls, and toys to a local orphanage.

This trip inspired me because it demonstrated how much help this part of the world needs, and how far the support and effort from our community can go to meet these needs. I was at the same time proud and humble to tell the people we helped about the support and contributions received from the entire community to realize these goals.

Thanks so much!

We are building a fence around these children's school this week. We've been here two days and it's halfway done. We have also started adding a third room to another school in a nearby village. The kids have greeted us into their classrooms with open arms and are so excited we are here.

It difficult to image, but work has begun and only after one day work the results are already visable. The fence around St. Kizito's school is almost halfway to completion and expansion of the Lakeside PreSchool is underway so much that it resembles nothing like the pictures. Thank you to all who supported this project. The donations over the last few days where overwhelming and really came through to make this all work. Pictures are difficult to share right now, but we will post them as soon as we get a stronger wifi signal to our phones.
