Celebrating All Forms of Communication 🌟

In a recent session, one of our amazing kiddos who uses AAC surprised us with something new — she imitated and used a sign to communicate before heading into the ball pit! 🧠🖐️🎉
Moments like this are powerful reminders: communication isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether it’s AAC, gestures, signs, vocalizations, or facial expressions — every form of communication is valid, meaningful, and worth celebrating.
✨ When we follow the child’s lead instead of forcing one method, connection grows deeper and true communication flourishes.
We're so proud of her progress and curiosity. 💬💙

Respite Night @ Shiloh Church is a special evening designed to give parents and caregivers of individuals with special needs a much-needed break—all while sharing the love of Jesus. It's free.
You can relax knowing your children will be well cared for by our trained volunteers. Parents and caregivers may also stay for all or part of the time.

Check out this awesome resource! The Indiana Access Pass is a great program that makes educational and fun activities more affordable for families with limited income.

🎟️ Indiana Access Pass
-Eligibility: Families who receive Medicaid, Hoosier Healthwise, SNAP, or TANF are eligible.
-Cost: $5 admission per person at participating locations.
-Participating Attractions:
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis
WonderLab Museum (Bloomington)
Conner Prairie
Indianapolis Zoo
And many more across Indiana!

✅ How to Apply
You can apply online or in person at one of the participating institutions. You'll need:
-Proof of eligibility (like a Medicaid card or SNAP/TANF benefits info)
-Photo ID
Once approved, the pass is valid for one year and gives access to over 60 cultural attractions in Indiana.
