Good morning everyone,

I hope you are having a great start to the day and your week.
I wanted to take a minute to share some exciting news with you.
For those that have followed my many journeys and adventures know that in my fitness journey I have used the DDP Yoga program for about 5 years now.

DDP Yoga was created by Diamond Dallas Page and Craig Aaron (Known as Yoga-Doc). It was started from Dallas’ injuries and incorporated the various techniques used for rehabilitation as well as the concepts of yoga.

DDPY also incorporates modifications for each pose, movement or sequence. This allows everyone to share in the workouts and movements and not feel left out, not good enough yet, or other emotions that may hinder someone from attending a fitness class in general.

DDPY has helped me greatly in weight loss, strength, mobility, balance and breaking up scar tissue from injuries that allow for better mobility and flexibility. The days of my back locking up and making me immobile, or the big knots behind my shoulder blades/scapula are few and far between.

DDPY cannot fix the degenerated discs, but it can help break up scar tissue and keep it from reoccurring, it can help strengthen the areas around these parts, and help strengthen my core which is vital in good body posture and mechanics.

You all may remember a year ago in March I broke my leg hiking. DDPY greatly helped in keeping me from being stagnant during the 3-4 month period of recovery. I was able to use the BedFlex and Chair Force videos to continue my workouts. Along with my own rehabilitation and recovery structure when I was released from my boot, I was able to run a pretty good 100-yard dash. (Ok, maybe a little less than a 100, but it seemed like a 100.)

I required no further rehabilitation from doctors and was able to get back to normal stand-up workouts and the hiking I loved so much.

I believe in DDPY and what it has done for me as well as the hundreds and thousands of success stories from other individuals. And because I believe in it so much, I have entered the Level 1 certification program.

As a Christian and man of faith, I believe that I serve God by serving others. I am also bound to tithing which goes above monetary donations and looks to my time and talents. I want to use my abilities and successes with DDPY to help others become involved in the program, help train with them, and help others who may need to use the program to help recover from injuries, weight loss, or just generally being out of shape and want to become more fit for a healthier lifestyle.

So, what does this mean to you?
Currently I am looking for students.
1, 5, 10, it does not matter.

I need teaching hours as part of my certification process. Our training time together will be free of charge. We will start by having an hour-long class that will introduce you to the fundamentals of DDPY called the Diamond Dozen. These movements provide the base for all of the various workouts that can be done.

The Diamond Dozen incorporate yoga positions such as Lunge, Warrior, and Table, etc., as well as stretching, cardio, rehabilitation movements, breathing concepts and dynamic resistance. You will use these movements to get your heart rate into a “green” calorie burning zone.

If you have never heard of DDPY, I would love to share more info with you or answer any questions you may have. If you have heard of DDPY and wanted to give it a try, I would love to schedule time with you, your family, and friends and share a workout with you so you can experience it firsthand.

You may also want to check out the DDPY app for your phone which is also accessible online.

I am pretty sure that when you sign up you get full access free for your first week. The app has tons of workouts from 10-minute stretches and workouts to 60 minute plus beginner to advanced workouts, food and video recipes, fitness tracking and lots more.
I had my first class instructing with my son and daughter in law last night and it was a great time. We worked up a great sweat and burned some calories. I have seen people burn on average 500-1,000 calories in a 50-60 minute workout.

I would also like to talk about the DDPY community.
Out of the gate, everyone is broken. It makes a level playing field.
Everyone in DDPY has fought a weight loss battle, health battle, emotional battle, life battle, and lots of injuries. It is a safe place for someone who is just entering such things, just entering a fitness or weight loss journey, may be introverted or scared to try something they may not be as good at as others around them. Or maybe you’re a guy who thinks yoga is just for women.

Well, at DDPY we say, “This aint your mommas' yoga!”

This creates a very supportive and close-knit community of people who are engaged in the same goals and come together to help each other, whether online or in person. Everyone’s abilities and journeys are similar and different. On the mat we share them together. We all were at the same steps at some point, and no one is above anyone. We come to class or to the groups with common goals and support each other.

One such individual is now my friend and mentor, Mr. Scott French.
Scott lives and teaches in Arizona. Scott is a US Army vet, certified DDPY instructor, has led instruction for many of the videos used in the DDPY app. He was the instructor in the BedFlex and Chair Force videos I watched and used during my broken leg recovery.

He also teaches veterans for the American legion, has a foundation called Warriors Purpose that is dedicated to veterans, and is a 4th degree black belt in Kenpo Karate.

After over a year of talking online I was able to meet my new friend in person and solidified a great relationship. I was also able to meet his wife Amy and several other DDPY students (Andrew, Erin, Aymeric), instructors or instructors in training. We all had a great afternoon together and they are all amazing people. It is a very strong community and very supportive.

I would love to share the world of DDPY with you and show you how it can improve your life. Maybe you have been on the couch edge looking for the one thing that helps get you up and moving.

We in DDPY call that “Owning Your Life.” and I’d be honored to help you do that and share your new journey.

I invite you to reach out to me if you have any questions. You can comment here or reach out by messenger, text etc. I will drop some links below for you to check out and gather more information.

I love that people love what I do. It grows on average 15-20 a month of late.
