Wellness Wednesday with

“Backup Plans” are one of the simplest ways to stay consistent with habits and goals.
If an obstacle comes up, then I already know how I’ll respond.

Example:
“If I feel too tired to work out after work, then I’ll do a 10-minute walk instead of skipping movement entirely.”

“If my dinner plans change and there aren’t healthy options available, then I’ll order the most plain version of protein and vegetables.”

Backup plans reduce decision fatigue and make follow-through easier — especially during stressful weeks.

Think about your biggest challenge when it comes to consistency and develop a go-to backup plan!

Therapy Thursday: The Pain Might Not Be Where You Think It Is

That nagging pain in your elbow?
The real issue could actually be coming from your shoulder. 😩

Shoulder pain?
Your shoulder blade or spine might be part of the problem.

This is called Regional Interdependence — meaning areas around the body work together, and dysfunction in one spot can create pain somewhere else.

Too often, people only treat the place that hurts… not the reason it hurts.

✅ Elbow pain → check the shoulder
✅ Shoulder pain → check the spine & shoulder blade
✅ Hip pain → check the low back & core
✅ Knee pain → check the hips & ankles

Your body is connected. Looking at the bigger picture can be the key to finally getting relief.

If you’ve been dealing with pain and can’t figure out why it keeps coming back, it may be time to look beyond the painful area itself.

Whole foods satisfy you.
Ultra-processed foods keep you craving more.

Food companies engineer texture, salt, sugar, and flavor combinations to hit the brain like a reward system.

That’s why nobody eats 12 potatoes in one sitting… but crushing an entire bag of chips feels normal.

Real food nourishes.
Processed food hooks you.
Simple rule of thumb- question anything that has more than one ingredient!
