Every meal is a chance to improve your health or inflame your body. What will you choose?

Real health starts with single-ingredient foods:
fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, eggs, nuts, and seeds.
Foods that come from nature, not a lab.

Ultra-processed foods are packed with additives, preservatives, and artificial ingredients your body doesn’t recognize. Sauces, marinades, salad dressings, and breading are confusing your body. Foods from a package are designed to make you crave more. These disrupt the gut, trigger inflammation, and over time contribute to chronic disease.

Health isn’t complicated, it’s been made complicated.

Choose foods with one ingredient.
Eat. Real. Food.

Stop acting like every meal needs to be creative or a party on your plate. Boring brings results. Boring makes progress predictable. Boring brings freedom from overanalyzing your choices. Boring FEELS good!

Try this: Can you make a meal with only 3 ingredients? Can you put that meal on repeat? Note how you feel after doing this for several days.

“What can I stick to, even on my bad days or when progress feels slow?”

Forget the BIG goals for a moment.
Forget perfect routines.
Forget becoming a “better version” overnight.

On bad days, I stick to small anchors:
• Drinking a glass of water
• Go on a 10 min walk
• Lift lighter weights
• Speaking to myself like I would to a friend
• Clear my space a bit (my home, my office)

Consistency doesn’t always look like overnight success.
Sometimes it looks like not quitting yourself. Elite athletes and top business leaders don’t chase perfection—they expect setbacks, celebrate small wins, and keep showing up, knowing success is built on far more losses than victories.

Wellness Wednesday:

As the new year begins, it’s tempting to set big, bold resolutions—the kind that sound inspiring and look great written down. But real change doesn’t happen in one giant leap. It happens in small, realistic steps you can actually show up for.

Before you commit to a goal, break it down. Ask yourself: What are the small goals that will realistically get me there? Not the ideal version of you—the version of you right now. Can you honestly do these things consistently, even on hard days?

Another important question to ask is: Am I actually ready to make these changes, or does the idea of change just sound good? There’s no shame in admitting you’re not fully ready. Awareness is powerful. If you’re not ready for the big shift, ask yourself instead: What am I capable of right now? Maybe it’s starting with one habit instead of five. Maybe it’s showing up once a week instead of every day. Progress still counts.

Small goals build confidence. Consistency builds momentum. And momentum is what carries you to the ultimate goal.

This year, don’t focus on perfection. Focus on honesty, self-awareness, and taking the next doable step. The rest will follow.

Let’s all share a small, doable goal! Mine is to do 5 minutes of upper body mobility work 6 days a week.
