Difficulty drinking enough water can stem from various factors, including a weak thirst drive, a busy schedule that makes it easy to forget, or a dislike for just plain water. Certain medical conditions, medications, or even stress can also play a role. And, some individuals simply have a less sensitive thirst mechanism and may not feel the need to drink as often as others.
o Mark Your Water Bottle: Print times on your water bottle in 8-12oz increments to help you remember to drink all during the day
o Flavor Your Water: Add fruit, herbs, or spices to your water to make it more enjoyable.
o Use Reminders: Set alarms or use apps to remind you to drink water
o Eat Water-Rich Foods: Fruits and vegetables, such as watermelon, cucumber, and celery, contain a lot of water.
o Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning. And make a habit of drinking a glass before each meal.
