Program Assistant needed in the Day Program at The Arc of Walker County. This position will assist program management through input in the planning and implementation of plans, develop and write learning opportunities for persons served, ensure timely implementation of plan learning opportunities, maintain plan tracking, provide training to employees as needed, compiles information for reports, ensure timely distribution of reports to support coordinators, coordinates and participates in community outings, holiday activities, etc, and provides program guidance in absence of Day/SL Program Coordinator. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and five years related experience or Associate’s Degree and six months of related experience, valid Alabama driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
