Meet Art Werner, our Patient Spotlight at Encore Rehabilitation – Jasper! 👏

Art recently underwent surgery for a total knee replacement and came to us for physical therapy. With a history of six previous knee surgeries, Art’s journey required both physical and mental determination—and he faced it with courage and persistence.

Art shared, “My therapists were aware of my previous 6 surgeries on my knee and started me easy but progressively. They moved me toward full use of my knee. This was tough not only physically but mentally, but they helped me in every way—encouraging me and pushing me enough to help me recover both mentally and physically.”

He also stated, “Encore Rehabilitation – Jasper provides genuine and professional care. They are knowledgeable and care for you as a patient from the time you enter the door until you leave. You feel welcomed, important, and cared for. I received professional help and encouragement on a daily basis which helped me recover!”

⭐ Patient Spotlight – Encore Rehabilitation, Jasper ⭐

Encore Rehabilitation – Jasper is proud to highlight Ryleigh Thompson and celebrate her hard work and dedication during her recovery journey.

Ryleigh recently underwent knee surgery to repair her posterolateral corner and came to Encore for rehabilitation to regain her strength and mobility. Through determination and the support of her therapy team, Ryleigh has made tremendous progress on her road to recovery.

Ryleigh shared this about her experience:

"My treatment went by so quickly. The staff was nothing shy of perfect—everyone was so kind and compassionate. You can really tell how much you are cared for by the staff. We’re excited to share that Abbey Bertoldi, Physical Therapy Assistant, has now obtained training in dry needling and can’t wait to help care for our patients using this advanced approach. Abbey joins Amy Sanders, Clinical Director and Physical Therapist to be able to offer this valuable service.

Meet Sid Scarborough, PT, Regional Vice President of Business Development with Encore Rehabilitation. Sid has served the Mobile and Baldwin County market for 12 years and brings more than 37 years of experience as a Physical Therapist practicing orthopedic, acute, and industrial physical therapy.

In addition to his clinical background, Sid spent over 20 years as a hospital administrator, overseeing ambulatory services and industrial medicine programs. His leadership in the Industrial Rehab setting includes post-injury rehabilitation, work hardening and work conditioning, return-to-work programming, ergonomic assessments and worksite analysis, and pre- and post-employment screening across all levels of industrial environments.
