Did you know that through ColoGuard screenings, 1 in 20 individuals who undergo a colon biopsy receive a diagnosis of colon cancer? 🩺 This screening is typically recommended for individuals aged 45 and older; however, high-risk young adults are also encouraged to undergo this screening to proactively address potential risks.

To initiate the screening process, an order from your healthcare provider is required. 📄 Reach out to our dedicated team, including our experienced providers like Dr. Smidtas, or our fantastic Nurse Practitioners, Mrs. Laura and Mrs. Aymee, to obtain the necessary order for your screening. If you would like to get in contact with a GI specialist to seek additional information regarding colorectal cancer or colonoscopies for additional screening, we can help with that too! 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️

We will be CLOSED today (December 24th) and tomorrow (December 25th), December 31st (NYE) and January 1st. While our team absolutely loves serving the community, our team is taking these special days to be with their families and celebrate this wonderful adventure called life.
