We are excited to partner with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive on Wednesday, January 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST. The event will take place at the health department in our education room. The need for blood donations is constant, and every donation can help save up to three lives. Community members are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and give the gift of life during this important event.

Appointments are recommended to help reduce wait times, but walk-ins will be accepted as availability allows. To schedule a donation, visit www.redcrossblood.org and enter your ZIP code or “DCHD” for the sponsor code to find the Dubois County Health Department drive, or call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

❄️The holiday season is upon us! Stay well by ensuring a healthy lifestyle, and by staying up to date on your vaccines. 🎄

Our drive thru is open for COVID, Flu, RSV, and Pneumonia vaccines. You must be 12 years or older to receive a vaccine in the drive thru.

⏰ Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Registration for our next CPR class is now open!

Our Health Educators will lead the course and provide training on first aid, CPR, and use ofan automated external defibrillator (AED). This free course is open to any Dubois County resident 15 years of age and older.
