Yesterday marked National Root Beer Float Day! We were delighted to celebrate this occasion with our esteemed community partners and friends at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center. The Timbers of Jasper, in collaboration with four other American Senior Communities, organized a special event to serve refreshing Root Beer Floats.

The Timbers of Jasper community extends its sincere congratulations to Sharon Wilz, our esteemed Resident of the Month for July!

Sharon consistently exemplifies the values we cherish. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm are a daily inspiration. Her exceptional crafting skills have made her an invaluable facilitator for our crafting programs.

A native of Huntingburg, Sharon resided there until her marriage to Tom, after which they relocated to Jasper. A graduate of Huntingburg High School, Sharon was active in the French Club, Pep Band, and played the Clarinet. Her professional background includes co-ownership of Steins Signs and Gifts, a role in insurance sales at Elliott Insurance in Jasper, and ownership of Bits and Pieces Crafts. Sharon is the devoted mother of Rachelle, Aaron, Brittney, and Andrea, and takes great pride in her role as a grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of four.

The team and residents of The Timbers of Jasper extend their warmest congratulations to Amber Campbell on the accomplishment of her Registered Nurse degree! Amber's contributions are highly valued, and she consistently demonstrates exceptional dedication and compassionate care. Amber has been an integral part of ASC for seven years, and has served as Nurse Schedule Coordinator/Central Supply at The Timbers of Jasper since February 2025. She frequently mentions her appreciation for the collaborative teamwork and the wonderful residents.

Her guiding principle, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," is a testament to her character.
