Summer’s here, and so are celebrations, BBQs, and community events! 🍉😎

As we gear up for gatherings big and small, it's important to keep youth safety front and center. Whether you’re a parent, educator, coalition member, or caregiver, these tips can help ensure that parties stay safe, fun, and substance-free.

Conversations, clear expectations, and active engagement can make all the difference. Let’s work together to create environments that support healthy choices and positive memories all summer long.

Substance misuse can be hard to spot, but knowing the signs could save a life.

For coalition leaders, parents, caregivers, and educators, staying informed is one of the most powerful tools in prevention. Substance Use Disorders can present differently in each person, and many hide their use behind everyday routines. That’s why early awareness matters.

Here are some common signs to look out for:

⚠️Sudden drop in school/work performance
⚠️Mood swings, irritability, or hyperactivity
⚠️Secretive or suspicious behavior
⚠️Changes in appetite, sleep, or personality
⚠️A noticeable lack of motivation or unusual fear/anxiety

Trust your gut. Ask questions. And never hesitate to reach out for help. 💬

At Catalyst Evaluations Group, we’re here to support prevention efforts with resources that inform, empower, and protect.
