Our Story
The primary mission of Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center is to love unconditionally all who walk through our doors as we share the truth of Jesus Christ in conjunction with a ministry to those facing pregnancy-related issues through: information, education, free pregnancy testing, lay counseling, supplies, referrals, and prayer for their emotional physical, educational and spiritual needs. We proclaim proudly life at conception and we also use opportunities to speak to abstinence, forgiveness, marriage, and most importantly, salvation.
Lighthouse Pregnancy Center was founded in 2005 as a nonprofit organization. We have continued to see the number of clients grow each year. We see on average 100 clients per month. We offer a “Earn While You Learn” program where clients earn points for different activities, i.e. watching educational videos, attending birthing or parenting classes, reading literature focused on improving healthy families, attending church and bible study. These points can then be used for shopping in our Clothing Closet. We also have a mentoring program for those who need to perform community service.
On Tuesday’s, we offer free ultrasound screenings. Call the Center to schedule your appointment.
Our Center is also instrumental in providing the S.H.A.P.E. program for all schools in Delaware County, Sexual Health Awareness Protection and Empowerment. Unfortunately the world gives our kids misleading and false information regarding their sexual health and through this program, we share truth with them that they cannot deny along with resources to make healthy and wise decisions.
