Leadership truly does comes full circle. This is what 3 Maison Teche Nursing Home administrators and 65 years (& counting) of experience in long term healthcare looks like. 💚

We’re honored to care for two incredible former administrators of Maison Teche, Mr. Viator & Ms. Roberts, who once poured so much into their residents and staff—and now trust Cypress Rehabilitation & Consulting with their own rehab journey.

🦽Cypress Rehab Stroll & Roll Club👟

We decided to make a MOVEment! We were inspired by our current and former clients wanting to continue their walking regiment even after completing their therapy sessions. Physical Therapist, Karleigh, created the Cypress Stroll & Roll club to encourage continued movement throughout Maison Teche Nursing Home and to keep track of the miles walked and propelled. In our building, 11 laps equals one mile. Over 19,000 feet/4 miles were walked/propelled in the first day! Fast forward to today, and our count is at 35 miles & counting in under a month!!!! Stay tuned for an exciting announcement from a current therapy client who was inspired to keep up his milage for a special cause!

It was an inspiring night highlighting how to facilitate our younger generation’s competitive advantage to build a stronger community. We are still celebrating our 1 year milestone! 1️⃣ 🎉

Our therapy clients had a blast playing balloon volleyball while working on important skills like coordination, balance, and anticipatory reactions.

Tracking the balloon, reaching to hit it, and adjusting body position helps challenge both the mind and body—all while sharing lots of laughs along the way!

At Cypress Rehab, we love finding creative ways to keep therapy engaging while helping our patients stay active and independent. 💚

One year ago, Cypress Rehab opened with a simple mission: to provide compassionate, high-quality therapy services rooted in recovery and community while preserving wellness & legacies.

Over the past year, we’ve had the honor of serving incredible patients, partnering with a dedicated facility and management company, walking alongside so many families on their rehabilitation journeys, and helping them remain active in our community.

We are beyond grateful for the trust, support, and encouragement that our small, locally owned business had received this past year. Cypress Rehab was built on tradition, heart, hard work, and a passion for helping others regain independence — and we’re just getting started.

🍂 September is Fall Prevention Month! 🍂

At Cypress Rehab, we’re dedicated to keeping our clients safe, steady, and confident every step of the way! Mr. Sigue’s therapy treatment included a fall risk assessment utilizing the Balance Tracking Systems. Based on his pre and post test results, he has improved from a high fall risk to a moderate fall risk when compared to normative data. Next goal: low fall risk.💪👟
