William Penn Care Center is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Nursing Scheduler to join our healthcare team. This full-time position plays a vital role in ensuring proper staffing coverage, compliance, and smooth daily operations within our skilled nursing facility.

🕒 Position Details
✔ Full-Time
✔ Monday–Friday
✔ Hours between 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
✔ 8.5-hour workday (includes 30-minute unpaid lunch)
✔ Pay: $19–$24/hour (based on experience)
🩺 Job Responsibilities
Staffing & Scheduling
• Create, manage, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly nursing schedules
• Ensure adequate staffing coverage for all shifts and departments
• Monitor and maintain nursing staffing ratios in compliance with state and facility regulations
• Address call-offs, shift changes, and last-minute staffing needs
• Communicate staffing needs and shortages to Administration and HR
• Coordinate coverage to reduce overtime and agency usage
Onboarding & Orientation
• Assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires
• Coordinate CNA class onboarding and scheduling
• Take employee badge photos and prepare ID badges
• Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and on time
Payroll & Timekeeping
• Review nursing timecards for accuracy
• Assist with payroll processing and timecard corrections
• Track and enter agency staff hours
• Ensure compliance with payroll deadlines
Administrative & Compliance Duties
• Maintain Department of Health (DOH) staffing worksheets
• Ensure compliance with staffing regulations and labor laws
• Maintain accurate records in Paycom and other systems
• Assist with audits, surveys, and compliance reviews
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and facility information
Communication & Coordination
• Communicate schedule updates and staffing needs clearly to staff
• Work closely with nursing leadership and HR
• Assist with scheduling interviews for nursing positions
• Provide administrative support to nursing leadership as needed
Additional Duties
• Assist with special projects as assigned
• Support daily operational needs of the facility
• Maintain a professional and organized work environment
✅ Qualifications
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or healthcare scheduling required
• Experience with Paycom or similar systems preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Knowledge of staffing regulations and compliance preferred
• Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
