Please join us in welcoming Laura Manko to Seyler Berkebile Marriage & Family Therapy! 🌿
Laura brings over 18 years of experience in student support and counseling, along with 2 years of family-based work, offering a thoughtful, compassionate, and highly skilled approach to care. In her role as a Secondary School Counselor, Laura developed and implemented intervention strategies, leads weekly small-group counseling sessions, collaborates with staff and students, and coordinates crisis management efforts to support overall well-being and success.
Her background includes extensive experience in crisis intervention, SAP coordination, program development, career planning, student engagement, and resource coordination, paired with strong strengths in empathy, active listening, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.
Laura holds a degree in Secondary School Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, giving her a solid foundation in understanding both individual needs and broader educational and family systems.
✨ Laura is now accepting new clients on Fridays.
We are excited to have her as part of our team and confident she will be a wonderful support to the individuals, couples and families we serve. Welcome, Laura!

Seyler Berkebile Marriage & Family Christmas Party!! We had a blast making charcuterie boards 🥩 🧀 🍇 It was such a fun way to step away from the day-to-day, unwind together, and reconnect as a team. If you or know of anyone losing access to their SNAP benefits, please instruct them to go to this website and apply for emergency assistance. This is a PA state program through federal funding. They have to apply RIGHT NOW, it starts Nov 1. Even though the government is shut down, this program is considered essential, and the employees are working, including the individual listed here on the site.
