Fifteen years ago today, March 10th 2011 at the Truman Hotel at Girls Night Out my plan of starting a reflexology business began. I did one foot so everyone could experience the difference in their feet after some reflexology. I sold 9 certificates and I am very grateful that some of the amazing people I that met that night are still clients today. I am grateful for the support of several friends (Kevin, Carrie, Monica and Randy), family and my amazing clients.

Why have I done this for 15 years? My instructor (who unfortunately is no longer with us) said after introducing himself, "There is no greater gift then to make someone feel better with your hands." That is why I hope to be here for another 15 years! My mentor is now 100 yrs old and still doing reflexology. I have a way to go but GOALS!!

I get to go home this afternoon. Yay!!! I walked at least 200 steps last night and the thing that threw me off was that both my legs were the same length… Lol!! I have seen my surgeon, my doctor, my occupational therapist and waiting on PT. Pain is only about a two and I am sitting up in a chair. I believe it is your thoughts and prayers that have gotten me here. I am truly blessed! Thank you!!! ☺️ You’ll also be glad to know this is probably my last post for a while, but I did want to keep you updated because you guys have been so great to me! 💃❤️💃. Happy dance!!

Hello! I am back in the land of the living!! I got out of surgery and woke up in recovery around 4 o’clock. My sister had my phone and we did not connect until about six so I wanted to let everyone know that I did well. My joint no longer hurts! I am doing well and I know it’s thanks to all your thoughts and prayers! You all are the best!!

Well this time tomorrow, Monday the seventh, I will be getting a new hip! I have to be at the hospital at 10:30 and my surgery will be at one. I have the best clients ever!!! I have appreciated all your good thoughts and prayers!! I will certainly tell you how tomorrow goes and look forward to walking out of the hospital.

Well the time has come and Dr Thompson has agreed to replace my hip on July 7!! I am truly grateful. Prayers are appreciated. Now you won’t have to watch me limp around with my walker or roll down the hall. Although it was a little fun zooming down the hall!! All appointments from July 7 and forward will be canceled and I will let everyone know as soon as I’m back in the office. I’m not going to reschedule appointments at this time since I don’t know what my PT will look like. I look forward to walking and seeing clients again!!
