Check out this great volunteer opportunity!

The Missouri Youth Leadership Forum (MO-YLF) is accepting applications for volunteer staff members to join this transformative, five-day youth leadership program from July 15-20, 2024 in Columbia.

The MO-YLF for Missouri high school students with disabilities (ages 16-21) empowers young leaders by equipping them with valuable skills necessary for success in employment, higher education, and independent living.

Throughout the week, participants immerse themselves in workshops on disability history and rights, assistive technology, community resources, the legislative process, and self-advocacy. Beyond learning, they build lasting friendships and connections with peers and mentors from across Missouri through engaging evening activities like an adaptive sports night, a talent show, and a dance social.

While relevant experience is highly valued, we welcome a diverse range of qualified applicants. This includes but is not limited to: Missouri Youth Leadership Forum program alumni, Professionals working in disability-related organizations, Teachers, and Undergraduate (junior or senior level) or Graduate College Students majoring in a disability-related field.

Don't miss this incredible opportunity to empower the next generation of leaders with disabilities.
