After TWENTY (20) YEARS of joyful volunteers providing free and low-cost healthcare services, Joining Hands Health Center is now transitioning into healthcare services by Rural Medical which will be doing some minor renovations to JHHC's 1413 Russell Ave/Jefferson City building over the next couple weeks in preparation for offering Medical, Dental and Behavioral Health services (billable on a sliding scale) beginning in early January. Please call Rural Medical 423-623-1057 to get established as a new medical and/or dental patient so that when you have a need for care, their professionals will be available to help you quickly. Change is coming! The Joining Hands Health team will soon pass over their compassionate healthcare ministry @ 1413 Russell Ave Jefferson City to the professionals of Rural Medical Services Inc. whose team will increase the hours to Full Time expanded healthcare (medical, dental & behavioral health). RMS will serve people with no insurance on a sliding scale, and also provide services to those who have insurance. It's a Win/Win!! Our team will miss walking beside our patients as partners in elevated health, but we celebrate a much wider range of services available to all on a full time availability ❣

WHO ARE WE: JHHC is a volunteer operated non-profit clinic whose volunteer professionals are in their 14th year of dedicated free and very low cost Medical, Dental, Diabetes & Nutritional Education and Mental Health Counseling (as well as Vision Care referrals) for low-income, uninsured patients.

A move in March 2018 to a modern facility has allowed for greatly expanded services. We are funded solely by private donations and grants.
