Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating Strawberry and Cream Day with delicious treats, laughter, and great company. Activities like these create meaningful moments, bring back treasured memories, and remind us all how important it is to enjoy life’s simple joys.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Karen from Smoky Mountain Hospice for spending quality time with our veterans here at Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center. 🇺🇸☕🍩

Our veterans truly enjoyed the coffee, donuts, and meaningful conversations shared together. It is always special to see our community partners taking the time to honor and appreciate those who have served our country.

As Nursing Home Week comes to a close, we reflect on what an incredible week it has been at Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center. Our residents, staff, families, and community partners came together to create a week filled with joy, laughter, learning, and meaningful memories.

From our exciting carnival celebration to welcoming wonderful vendors into our facility, each day brought something special for everyone to enjoy. Residents had the opportunity to learn about plants, gardening, and even explore edible flower teas, making for a fun and educational experience.

We are so thankful to everyone who helped make this week a success. Nursing Home Week is a beautiful reminder of the importance of community, compassion, and creating moments that bring happiness to our residents each and every day.

Today was filled with compassion, creativity, and purpose at Jefferson City Health and Rehab! 🧵❤️

A special thank you to UT Hospice for coming out and spending meaningful time with our residents as they worked together sewing beautiful quilts to donate to a local women’s shelter. Seeing our residents use their talents and caring hearts to give back to others in need made this day truly special.

Moments like these remind us that kindness has no age limit, and even the smallest stitches can help bring comfort and warmth to someone going through a difficult time. Thank you again to UT Hospice for partnering with us and helping create such a heartfelt experience for our residents and community.

🎡🌸 Nursing Home Week has been full of smiles, laughter, and beautiful memories! Our Activities and Admissions teams came together to host a wonderful Flower Carnival for our residents, bringing fun, color, and joy to the day.

Residents enjoyed festive games, beautiful flowers, sweet treats, and spending time together celebrating the spirit of Nursing Home Week. Seeing so many smiling faces and hearing the laughter throughout the building made the day extra special.
