Please join us in congratulating De’Ann Greene, Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center’s Employee of the Month! 👏

De’Ann was nominated by both residents and staff, which speaks volumes about the impact she makes every single day. She has been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 26 years and has served as a Med Tech for the past 2 years, bringing decades of knowledge, dedication, and heart to our team.

De’Ann is always the first to step in and lend a helping hand to those around her. Whether it’s supporting a fellow staff member, comforting a resident, or going the extra mile to make someone’s day brighter, her compassion truly shines. The care she provides comes straight from the heart, and it shows in the relationships she builds with our residents and their families. 💙

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating National Cheese Ball Day here at Jefferson City Health and Rehab! The day was filled with laughter, delicious treats, and plenty of fun games. Everyone enjoyed coming together, sharing smiles, and making sweet memories with one another.

We would like to send a special thank you to Karen from Smokey Mountain Hospice for spending time with our residents at Jefferson City Health and Rehab!

Karen helped us celebrate two sweet national holidays—National Oreo Day and National Muffin Day! 🍪🧁 Our residents had such a wonderful time enjoying the treats, sharing laughs, and making special memories together.

We are so thankful for community partners like Karen and the team at Smokey Mountain Hospice who take the time to bring joy and kindness to our residents. Your visits truly mean so much to everyone here!

Today we celebrate National Maintenance Day, and we want to give a big shoutout to three very important members of our team — John, David, and Randy! 🛠️👏

These guys work hard behind the scenes every day to keep everything running smoothly for our residents and staff. From fixing things that break to making sure our building stays safe, comfortable, and welcoming, their dedication never goes unnoticed.

Today was a bittersweet day at Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center as we said “see you later” to someone who has been such a special part of our family. 💛

Josh has called Jefferson City Health and Rehab home since 2018 — and today… he got to go home. What a true blessing it has been to walk alongside him over the years, sharing laughter, stories, and so many unforgettable memories.

If you knew Josh, you knew his love for the Tennessee Volunteers ran deep! 🧡🤍 Win or lose, he was always cheering on his Vols. It was only fitting that our staff gave him a heartfelt send-off filled with love, well-wishes, and plenty of Volunteer spirit.

Josh, you have left a mark on all of our hearts. Thank you for trusting us with your care and allowing us to be part of your journey. We are so proud of you and so excited for this next chapter.

At Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center, our residents had an amazing time celebrating Mardi Gras with a festive party full of fun, laughter, and great company! 🎭✨ From colorful beads and vibrant decorations to lively music and delicious treats, the room was filled with joy and excitement.

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces as everyone joined in the celebration and embraced the spirit of Mardi Gras. Moments like these remind us how important it is to create meaningful experiences and lasting memories together.

There’s nothing better than a surprise visit from someone who once called our facility home. 💚

This week, we had the joy of welcoming back Gabriel, who was a resident at Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center in 2023. Through hard work, determination, and the dedicated support of our Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, Gabriel achieved his goal of returning home.

He stopped by with his mother to say hello, and it was truly heartwarming to see him — and the incredible progress he continues to make. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do: helping our residents regain strength, independence, and confidence so they can return to the lives they love.

🎶 Guess That Tune Fun at Jefferson City Health & Rehab! 🎶

Our residents had a wonderful time putting their music knowledge to the test during a lively round of Guess That Tune with our amazing Activities team at Jefferson City Health & Rehabilitation Center! From classic country favorites to old-time hits, the room was filled with laughter, singing, and a whole lot of friendly competition.

Music has a special way of bringing back memories, sparking joy, and bringing everyone together — and that’s exactly what we experienced. Watching our residents smile, sing along, and cheer each other on made for such a heartwarming afternoon.

We had such a wonderful time making homemade pizzas with our residents, and we want to give a big thank you to Karen from Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice for coming out and spending the day with us!

Karen rolled up her sleeves and jumped right in, helping our residents create delicious pizzas filled with their favorite toppings, laughter, and lots of fun. Activities like this bring so much joy, connection, and meaningful moments to our day, and we are so grateful for community partners like Karen who take the time to make it extra special.
