Healthcare costs can add up quickly, especially for routine visits that should be simple and accessible.

At Hometown Health DPC, services like annual wellness exams and well-woman visits are included in your membership, helping you get the care you need without surprise bills or rushed appointments.

Because healthcare should feel personal, predictable, and focused on you.

2 in 3 Alzheimer's patients are women.

That number has been blamed on longevity for years. But the biology tells a more complicated — and more actionable — story.

Menopause. Reproductive history. Hearing loss. Depression. The APOE gene. These aren't small details. For women, they are the story.

And here's what matters most: nearly half of dementia cases are linked to risk factors we can address. Midlife — your 40s and 50s — is not when it's too late. It's when it matters most.

We wrote the full breakdown on our blog this Women's Health Month. Everything the research says. Everything worth bringing up at your next appointment.

Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in the U.S. — above all cancers combined.

And most women never see it coming, because the symptoms don't look like what we've been taught.

Swipe through to learn:
→ The warning signs women actually experience
→ Why female risk is different (and often missed)
→ What you can do to protect yourself starting now

💛 Comment HEART and we'll DM you a direct link to our full women's heart health blog.

Heart health starts long before a diagnosis.

Small, consistent habits at home can make a big difference over time:

• Pay attention to changes in energy, shortness of breath, or chest discomfort
• Aim for regular movement, even simple daily walks
• Focus on balanced meals with less processed food and added salt
• Know your family history and share it with your provider
• Track blood pressure if you’ve been advised to

And most importantly, don’t ignore “small” symptoms. Early conversations with your provider matter.

Heart disease is the #1 killer of women, yet it’s often missed or caught too late.

Symptoms don’t always look the same, and quick, in-and-out appointments don’t always leave room to connect the dots.

With Direct Primary Care, you have time to talk through subtle changes, family history, and risk factors with a provider who knows you.

That kind of relationship can make the difference between overlooking something and catching it early.

May is Women’s Health Month, and we’re spending the entire month talking about the things that matter most to women’s health—at every stage of life.

Because when you have real, honest information, you’re able to make better decisions for yourself and the people who depend on you.

We’ll be diving into everything from heart disease (still the #1 killer of women), to osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s, and breast cancer—along with real conversations around perimenopause, menopause, HRT, and what your options actually look like.

Some of it might surprise you. All of it matters.
