It’s been a Monday here at the office. Dr. Strong put together this rolling desk by herself and it shows. Last week a screw fell out and today a wheel came off mid-visit. Thanks to a dad who had tools on hand and fixed it! We have the best patient families, and we will make sure all furniture Dr. Strong had any part in assembly will be quality checked. 😂🫣

It's been a great first month at the clinic. Tonight, we are excited to auction a new patient visit at Freshwater Church: Jeff City silent auction for the youth group fundraiser. The trivia tables are full, but the silent auction will be up front for anyone wanting to bid on a new patient visit!

I’m enjoying the Vitamin D while I work on prior authorizations and notes. We’ve had a busy 3.5 weeks seeing patients and getting settled in the new office. Today we had a company out to measure the office for signs, so soon we will be easier to find. 🙌🏻

A few updates for patients:

Tomorrow, Thursday April 9th, I’ll be out of the office. Reganne will be answering calls, and we will be back in the office on Friday on a normal schedule.

We’ve ran into some issues with generating superbills, and are working with our EMR to get those fixed.

I’m seeing patients 8:30-5 M,T,Th,F and 8:30-12 on Wednesdays. Reganne is here 8:30-5 every day, but doesn’t answer calls 12-1. I’ve been seeing patients on a normal schedule, so please don’t hesitate to call to get your kids set-up in the new system.

Prices are the same, $85 for a 30-minute visit, with an upcharge for longer visits. Siblings will get a 25-% discount for their first visit.

I’m still not taking new patients, but I’m working hard to make this happen. Stay tuned!

A few updates for patients:

Reganne will be on vacation starting the afternoon of Monday March 30th through Thursday April 2nd, so Dr. Strong will be wo-manning the phone and seeing patients. Typically, we we want called to schedule a visit, but please message Dr. Strong in SigmaMD. She will be checking the phone as time allows.

If you've been waiting on lab/imaging orders, we have the new online interface set-up so Dr. Strong will be working on your orders this weekend.

Please delete Spruce. You want to get set-up on SigmaMD, so that you can connect to the patient portal for after-hours messaging.

We will be establishing care with siblings of existing patients shortly, but otherwise are still holding on taking other new patients.

It's been a great first two weeks in clinic. We appreciate your patience with the change, and your excitement in the new space. We hope you love it as much as we do!

If you're having trouble finding us, here's a street view of where we are located. We have a separate parking lot and entrance in the side basement suite with the green awning. We are working on graphics and signs. Hope this helps!

We are using a new system called SigmaMD and will be sharing highlights on here to learn the new layout.

If your child was previously a patient with Dr. Strong, then you will need to call the clinic to set-up a patient profile in SigmaMD. You will then receive an email confirming the account and another email with your access code to download the patient portal. It’s a more robust patient portal with all of your child’s medical information in one place: visit notes, prescriptions, patient messaging, your receipts and superbills.

The Patient Portal allows you to securely communicate with your care team directly from your browser. The interface is fully responsive and automatically adjust

Thank you to my patients for voting for me. I took the plunge 4 years ago to try something new, and winning an award and opening my own clinic in the same year were not on my Bingo card. I am living my dream to provide patient care in a model that brings me joy and challenges me daily to be a better physician. I look forward to many more cups of coffee drank and life stories shared with my patient families. Happy Monday! We have started scheduling patients for this week on a limited basis as we learn our new electronic medical records system. Once you are set-up on SigmaMD, you will be connected to the portal to access your child's chart and after-hours messaging system with Dr. Strong.

Hello! My name is Reganne Thomas and I am the office manager at Strong Pediatric and Wellness. I graduated from Liberty University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. As the office manager, I will enjoy helping create a welcoming and organized environment for both clients and Dr. Strong. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors with my husband, Zach, and our two golden retrievers, Porter and Honey.

Thanks everyone for your patience this week! We have been on the phone trying to get back with you quickly, but it is taking us time to get through the list. I have set up the voicemail, so please leave a message so we know who to call back. You will need your social security number and your child’s to get set-up in new electronic system, so have that handy when you call.

My new receptionist, Reganne, started this week so thanks for being so kind while she learns the ropes. You will love her!

I am slated to start seeing patients next week on March 16th, but it will be a slower week as we learn our new computer system. I could never be doing this without your support, and I am grateful you trust me with the care of your child. It’s a gift I don’t take lightly, and I’m so excited to keep serving you!
