What is your role at WPTT?
Currently, I am an Administrative Assistant, with future plans to become a Speech Language Pathologist!

When did you begin at WPTT?
I began at WPTT in June of 2023!

What do you love most about WPTT?
WPTT has given me so many incredible opportunities to grow both as a student and as a professional. I’m extremely grateful for the meaningful connections I’ve made through WPTT. By working alongside therapists, I’ve learned so many valuable tools that I will carry with me into my future career.

Any advice for people looking into your field?
If you’re thinking about becoming an SLP, get hands-on experience as early as possible. I’ve learned that the field is about much more than therapy sessions; it’s teamwork, documentation, and strong communication. Seeing the behind-the-scenes work has helped me better understand what it truly takes to be a successful SLP.

Fun Fact: LeAnn's brothers came to WPTT when we first opened, and she began sitting in on sessions in 2017!

CPSE to CSE: Transition from Preschool Special Education to Kindergarten

What is your role at WPTT?
I am a Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Therapist, and Certified Myofunctional Therapist.

When did you begin at WPTT?
I began at WPTT in July of 2024.

What do you love most about WPTT?
What I love most about WPTT is the relationships I’ve built with my colleagues and the families I work with. Nothing is more special than forming strong bonds while supporting families through education and helping their children grow and succeed.

Any advice for people looking into your field?
Some advice I would give to aspiring SLPs is to never be afraid to try something new. Embrace opportunities that challenge you and push you beyond your comfort zone, because that’s where growth truly happens. Ask questions, seek support, and trust that every new experience is shaping you into a stronger, more confident clinician.

I am a Speech Language Pathologist.

When did you begin at WPTT?
I began at WPTT in September 2024!

What do you love most about WPTT?
What I love most about WPTT is building relationships with other service providers and families. Everyone at WPTT puts all their time and effort into giving the support these children/families need! We all have the goal of making a difference in all of our clients’ lives!

Any advice for people looking into working in the Speech Therapy field?
Speech pathology is a big scope of practice! Always keep an open mind going into this field! Try to get as much experience as possible (e.g. different settings, different areas) to get a good understanding of what you like and what population you want to work with!

Required Availability:

• Covering late afternoon/evening reception shifts
• Greeting clients and answering phones
• Assisting staff with light administrative tasks
• Helping out where needed

What is your role at WPTT?
I am the Finance Manager!

When did you begin at WPTT?
I began at WPTT in September of 2023!

What do you love most about WPTT?
What I love most about WPTT is the people and the shared commitment to making a real difference. Even though my role is on the finance side, it’s clear that everyone here genuinely cares about the children and supports one another as a team. Every department works together toward the same goal, and it’s great to be part of a team where your work is valued and contributes to something meaningful. Kristen and Rachel have created something truly special, and I’m honored to play a part in supporting the continued growth of the company.

Any advice for people looking into working in your field?
Stay curious and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Finance, especially in healthcare, is always evolving, so being adaptable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn goes a long way. Understanding how your work supports the bigger mission makes it especially rewarding.
