When the fun is just too good to stop! 💥🎉
Today was filled with joy, friendly competition, and heartwarming surprises in our community! We kicked off the fun with a very competitive game of noodle ball — our residents came to play and didn’t hold back! 💪🏾😂 The energy was high, the laughs were loud, and they were having such a great time, they didn’t want to stop… not even for lunch! 🍴 (We eventually had to tempt them away with dessert!)
Next, we brought out the laughs with a good old-fashioned pig race 🐷🏁. Everyone picked their pig and cheered them on like it was the Kentucky Derby — the excitement was contagious!
(Side Note: We noticed a ton of milkweed on the side of the road and decide to stop and pick a few for out growing 🐛🦋. The dedication is one of a million 😆)
To top off the day, we welcomed a very special guest — a doll collector of 45 years — who came in to share her beautiful collection with our residents. But the best part? She gifted each resident their very own baby doll. 🍼💖 It was such a touching moment. The residents were overjoyed — some began rocking and naming their dolls right away, while others shared memories of when they were new mothers. The room was filled with warmth and smiles.
From competitive play to heartfelt moments, today reminded us just how much love and connection lives in this community.
It was a beautiful reminder that no matter the age, joy, play, and love never fade. 💗
