We are excited to remind you that our monthly Family and Friends Night is happening TONIGHT, Tuesday, July 29, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Cypress Place Assisted Living!

Join us for a fun-filled evening themed “Summer Tiki Nights.” Enjoy live entertainment as our bartender, Rickie from The Midnight House, dazzles you with fire flickering techniques while crafting delightful mocktails, and indulge in delicious Aloha appetizers, all while soaking in the delightful Islander vibe!

Celebrating My Right-Hand Man: Zack Baldwin

Today, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for someone who plays an invaluable role in my daily life: my administrative assistant, Zack Baldwin. Zack isn't just an assistant; he’s truly my right hand. His unwavering support and dedication make my work life so much smoother.

One of the qualities I appreciate most about Zack is his commitment to keeping me grounded. In a world full of distractions and fast-paced decisions, he serves as my conservative conscience, often reminding me to take a step back and consider the bigger picture. His perspective is not only refreshing but also essential in maintaining balance in our work environment. I can always count on him to reel me in when I get a bit too carried away! 😂

What really sets Zack apart is the spirit he brings to the office. Every day, he arrives with a little bit of Jesus in his heart, and his positivity is infectious. Today was no exception—his thoughtful gesture of blessing our meal before we ate reminded me of the importance of gratitude and community. It’s these small moments that foster a sense of togetherness and reflect the values we uphold.

🌟Reunited with a Bright Spirit!🌟

Every once in a while, someone comes into your life for a season, and they leave an indelible mark on your heart. You can’t quite remember how life was before them, but you know it will never be the same once they’re gone. Today, we experienced that joy all over again!

Lacy, our former activity director, brought a whirlwind of craziness and chaos into our lives, just what we needed! We’ve missed her vibrant energy and infectious spirit. Imagine our delight when she showed up as our server today at Big Pine Lodge!

Seeing her greet each of us at the door brought back a flood of memories and warmth. She has a unique way of making everyone feel special, and today was no different. We are forever changed by the imprint Lacy left on each of us, and it was such a joy to reconnect.

Here’s to the beautiful moments that remind us how lucky we are to have people like Lacy in our lives! ❤️

🌊🐟 A Day to Remember on the Caddo River!🐟🌊

What an incredible day we had! Today, we took our amazing residents out to Big Pine Lodge for a fish feast, and it was just the kind of day we all needed.

The best part? Strolling along the scenic Caddo River. There’s something so refreshing about being out in nature, feeling the breeze, and enjoying the company of good friends. Laughter filled the air as we shared stories and created new memories together.

The food was fantastic, but the real highlight was the time spent with family and friends. It’s these moments that remind us how important it is to connect and enjoy life, no matter our age.

A huge shoutout to Big Pine Lodge, Lacy, Alexa, Destiny, General Manager Jacey, and the rest of the crew for making us feel at home. The food AND THE SERVICE was FLAWLESS! Shout out to Bro. Seth Buckner from Heritage Baptist Church for helping with transport. And of course Jill & Rhonda from Heritage Home Health & Hospice for ALWAYS being apart of our crazy adventures! And to those behind the scene that quietly helped to make this happen! Thank you!
